Chapter I
The idea
“Conceived in ideas, forged by dreamers who never cease to create.”
The habit of building came long before the company. In 2017 the founding team started 99Syndicate as a security community, whose work went on to reach a number of Indonesian government institutions. In 2019 it ran aByte, a free subdomain and hosting service for students and beginner developers, and The Ohayou Post, a pop culture media outlet. In 2020 came OtaByte, a creative circle of people from the creative industries where the team makes games, and in 2022 PIRA.live, a short-link service built for ASPIRA Project.
aByte and PIRA.live are where ktik.me began. aByte taught the team how to give people a free home on the web; PIRA.live showed how much a short, memorable link is worth. ktik.me, launched in March 2026, brings both together — free subdomains and short links — and adds what creators asked for along the way: link-in-bio pages, fan support and a digital product store. Poketo has a similar story: it has been designed since 2022, but only began running in October 2026, once the payment side was ready to be done properly with a licensed processor.
Client work started before the company did, too. From 2020 the founding team built websites, designed visuals and managed talent for ASPIRA Project, and from 2022 it built and maintained the news websites News7 (PT Akurat Penelitian dan Konsultan Indonesia) and Lensa Polri (PT Mediatama Wisata Sejahtera).
In 2023 that work was formalised as PT Dahono Consulting Agency, a management and compliance consultancy. Its first client as a company, from July 2023, was SABAKO (PT Sabako Kreativ Digital), where Dahono has handled company licensing and compliance ever since. More clients followed from Indonesia’s creative economy — the VTuber agency EterLuna in 2024 and Casrea Academy in 2026 for legal advisory — alongside website work for Prism:NOVA.
Working alongside them, the team kept running into the same problems: contracts nobody could afford to review, AI tools that sent data abroad, sellers who could not get paid, creators without local tools. Advice alone could not fix those at scale, so the team started building products that could.
- 2017 — 99Syndicate starts as a security community.
- 2019 — aByte, free subdomains and hosting for students and the first root of ktik.me; The Ohayou Post, a pop culture media outlet.
- 2020 — OtaByte, a creative circle where the team makes games, starts; work for ASPIRA Project begins: websites, design and talent management.
- 2022 — websites for News7 and Lensa Polri; PIRA.live, a short-link service for ASPIRA Project and the second root of ktik.me; design work on Poketo begins.
- 2023 — PT Dahono Consulting Agency is founded; SABAKO becomes its first client in July.
- 2024 — legal advisory for the VTuber agency EterLuna begins.
- November 2025 — Dahono Labs starts, and the first MagangHub interns are selected.
- March 2026 — ktik.me launches, carrying on the work of aByte and PIRA.live.
- April 2026 — legal advisory for Casrea Academy begins.
- October 2026 — Poketo, in design since 2022, starts running.
- October 2026 — Dahono becomes the infrastructure provider for Netra Runtime.
- October 2026 — Dahono brings its products and programs together as one group.
What began as a consultancy is now a group: a handful of products and programs, each with its own users, built and run by one small team that shares its engineering, legal knowledge and infrastructure across all of them — and that still treats every new idea the way it treated the first one.
Chapter II
The problems we chose
Legal certainty is expensive. For most UMKM, creators and small teams, having a contract reviewed or keeping up with new regulation costs more than they can spend, so documents get signed without being understood.
Data is often processed abroad. Most AI services process data on servers outside Indonesia, which is a problem for any organisation that handles personal data and must comply with Indonesian Law No. 27/2022 on Personal Data Protection (UU PDP).
Small sellers struggle to get paid. Individuals and businesses without a PT or CV find it hard to accept QRIS, Virtual Account and PayLater without heavy fees and paperwork.
Creators and researchers need doors opened, not paywalls. Link-in-bio tools, open data and AI access are often priced for markets far richer than ours.

Chapter IV
The two engines
Dahono Labs and Dahono Router are the main lines of business today. Together they carry the group, and they are where most of the team’s time goes.
Dahono Labs gives teams without a legal department a way to check contracts before they sign them: a 10-second audit of PDF and DOCX files against Indonesian law, a redline comparison that surfaces hidden changes, and a live feed of new regulation. It is pay-as-you-go: Rp 5.000 per contract analysis, no monthly fee, a prepaid balance that never expires, and 100 free credits on sign-up. Institutions can license an on-premise deployment.
Dahono Router gives Indonesian developers one OpenAI-compatible API for 40+ models with Zero Data Retention, alongside cloud VPS in Jakarta, S3-compatible storage and long-term memory for AI agents. Everything runs on one prepaid rupiah balance: models are billed per token at published prices, NAT VPS plans start at Rp 10.000, S3 storage starts at Rp 2.500 a month for 10 GB with no egress fees, and agent memory starts at about Rp 1.000 a month.
Chapter V
What we run for the community
Not everything we build is meant to earn. Some of it exists because it should exist, and because the people it reaches are the builders of the next decade.
- ktik.me is run as a non-profit and is free for creators.
- Dahono-4B is released as open weights that anyone can run, fully offline if they need to.
- Dahono Foundation gives verified researchers, students and legal aid institutions free AI quotas, the 227k+ regulation corpus and the LegalBench-ID benchmark, and runs internships through Kemnaker RI MagangHub.
- 99Syndicate has been a community since 2017: security researchers building tools such as ERIS and exploit.or.id together. Its members have done security work for many Indonesian government institutions.
Chapter VI
How the pieces connect
- ktik.me → Poketo: fan support and digital product sales on ktik.me are paid out through Poketo.
- Dahono Router as shared infrastructure: ktik.me is hosted on Router’s Jakarta node, Dahono Labs uses the Router gateway for balances, top-ups and its regulation search API, and ERIS ships Dahono Router as a built-in model provider.
- Infrastructure for Netra Runtime: since October 2026 Dahono has provided the infrastructure Netra Runtime runs on — a relationship that began as consulting work.
- Dahono Foundation → the team: research access, open data and MagangHub internships bring new talent into the group.
- 99Syndicate → red-team services: the community’s tools and people are the base for a planned security service line.
Chapter VII
Trust, by design
- Zero Data Retention: Dahono Router and Dahono Labs process requests without keeping them for training.
- UU PDP: personal data is handled under Indonesian Law No. 27/2022 on Personal Data Protection.
- Data close to home: Dahono Router cloud VPS runs in Jakarta, and Dahono-4B can run entirely on hardware an organisation owns.
- Licensed payments: Poketo payments are processed by DOKU, a payment service provider licensed by Bank Indonesia.
- Built for Indonesia: rupiah and QRIS instead of cards, Bahasa Indonesia alongside English, and Indonesian law as the default context.
